Isobel is currently undertaking an MA in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins (UAL). Whilst also working as a member of The Associates, a student collative that shares sights, sounds and stories from inside the College.

Isobel graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a first class degree in animation in 2020 and began working as a freelance 2D animator and illustrator.

Before joining Edinburgh's Animation department, she completed her Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Manchester Metropolitan’s School of Art in 2017 and graduated with a distinction.​

In 2019, Isobel was able to spend a semester abroad in Australia at Griffith University. It was a fantastic experience where she was able to take classes in character design, art direction, acting and performance and also classes in Toon Boom. Isobel thoroughly enjoyed her experience in Australia. 

Isobel has always loved animation and the way it gives the artist the ability to bring their works of art to life. She is interested in narrative and storytelling through animation, as she enjoys visually communicating ideas that helps the audience see a perspective in a new light.
